Long time no see/regarding recent events...
I honestly believed I never would have to write a post like this, and despite how it's been days, I'm still pending between disbelief, shock and sadness. Takahashi-sensei was one of my idols, one that meant such a great deal to me. Not only with his creations and art, but what he stood for, what messages he wanted to give to the world, his constant growth in art. We lost a legend too soon and I'm not sure when I personally will heal from it. Rest in paradise, sensei, and thank you, sincerely, for all the memories. Now, it's been a while since I was active here. But I'm going to be honest: I will never return to deviantART. Before you scream at me, I'm just going to drop what I know everyone is wondering: "Future of Yesterday" is NOT abandoned, nor is it forgotten. There hasn't been a single day that I haven't thought about it. Not one. Have I worked on it, though? Not much. And there are plenty of reasons for that. I'm almost back
Hi. I'm still alive. Summer's been rough (unusual heat and humidity combined with months of terrible sleep have fucked me up pretty bad), I've had too many projects with deadlines to finish or at least progress in and too little motivation to do so properly.
But now, the summer heat is gone, I've been sleeping better and better this week, and all deadlines are almost over.
So to calm your worries; no, FoY isn't dead, and my goal is to finish chap 3 by the end of September, and hopefully chap 4 before the end of the year (fingers crossed). I still can't give a date for the next pages, but when I know for sure, I will tell you. And sooner rat
Frustration overload
If you hear a dissatisfied scream in the distance, then don't worry, that's just me loudly exclaiming my dislike over this goddamn deadline.
Big Bang took over my life and has been a bigger challenge than I wanted it to be, but so close to the deadline as well as finishing this damn thing, I don't want to give up. But I don't have time for much else either. And working so intensely on puzzleshipping (more intensely than I'm used to that is) doesn't really make me motivated to work on FoY at the moment. It doesn't mean I haven't done anything, the next four pages have been cleaned up and are ready for inking, and I've also made some quick ske
